Join us today as we travel to Basel - the second largest city in Switzerland on the river Rhine!
Famous for its cultural attractions and over 40 museums, Basel has something for everyone. From a 1000 year old Cathedral to a treasure hunt through the old town for kids, this beautiful city is full of amazing things to explore and see.
We also experienced an engineless boat ride on the river Rhine - one of Basel’s top riverside attractions. After a quick stop for a delicious pizza at Vito Restaurant, we went on to see the zoo. Next was Kunstmuseum - the art museum with the finest collection of paintings in Switzerland.
During our visit we also took the opportunity to visit Aquabasilea, which has a plethora of water attractions including water ride adventures, spa, hammam, sauna, and more. For dinner we visited Cantina Don Camillo and discovered their delicious vegan desserts. The last stop of the day was at an escape room called Room Escape which we completed in just under an hour!
Basel is a city of wonders with unlimited fun things to do!
