Exploring the market, we were stunned by the number and kinds of animals being traded. There were countless breeds of cows, bulls, sheep, goats, and a lot more.ย
What Eid Represents to the Muslims Around the World
Engaging with the locals and with the help of our driver, we learned about the deep-rooted traditions and symbolism behind the ritual of sacrificing animals, as well as the reasons why Muslims engage in this act of devotion.ย
This ritual doesnโt only fulfill a religious obligation but also serves as a means of giving back to the community and sharing the blessings of the occasion with the less fortunate.
