It was the summer home of the Roman emperor Diocletian who started building it around 293 AD. Near the Diocletian's palace, a serene promenade called Riva offers the perfect Mediterranean atmosphere for romantic walks, love and socializing. It is great for relaxing and having a great time!
Split also has a plethora of other outdoor activities to offer. The three peaks of the Marjan hill offer an unforgettable view of the city and the three amazings beaches located at its foot.
