Delicious SIEM REAP CAMBODIA 🇰🇭😋 Cooking Classes & Shinta Mani Cambodia

Warm Welcome to Shinta Mani Hotel

This chic boutique hotel is part of a community program that helps guests meet locals from rural Cambodia and supports the Shinta Mani Foundation.

We started the day by discussing our schedule over a delicious breakfast, and then it was moving time!

Arriving at the Shinta Mani Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by their warm welcome. After checking in, we took a quick tour of our gorgeous rooms.

From comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms to delightful decor and a wonderful pool view, Shinta Mani Hotel offered us everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Siem Reap. 

For lunch, we decided to grab some Greek food (yes, you read that right, Greek food in Cambodia). In the evening, we spent time by the pool relaxing and enjoying the perks of the hotel. 

The following morning started with a rich continental breakfast. We were amazed by the crazy variety of foods that Shinta Mani Hotel offered.

And then, guess what? LAUNDRY! You’ve probably figured out by now how much we get excited about doing laundry. LOL

Khmer Gourmet Cooking Class

We had a nice pile we left at the laundry place to be done overnight and headed towards Pub Street to look for the Khmer Gourmet Cooking Class.

Once we managed to locate them, we sat down to choose the menu we were going to prepare and then made our way to the open market to get all the ingredients we needed for the cooking class. 

Back at the Khmer Gourmet Cooking Class, the kind chefs helped us learn a few cooking techniques and prepare delicious food that we later put to the taste test. And I am proud to say we nailed it!

Shinta Mani Luxurious Properties

After lunch, we found a hair salon and treated ourselves to a $5 haircut! Cheap as, right?

When we got back, we decided to go on a tour around the rest of the Shinta Mani properties. Their luxurious accommodations and impeccable service make Shanta Mani the perfect relaxing oasis in the middle of Siem Reap’s concrete jungle!
