30 COUNTRIES IN 9 MONTHS!!! 🌍🌎🌏 2022: A Year In Review

Hi Guys!

We can’t believe January 2023 is almost over, and we still haven’t had the time to do a proper recap of 2022! Well, I guess today is the day!

Before we go any further, we’d like to wish you a Happy and Successful New Year! 

Looking at the year behind us, it’s hard to wrap our heads around how fast-paced and eventful it was!

After 24 months of zero international travel, 2022 has enabled us to get back to our globetrotting lifestyle and mission to visit every country in the world.

Despite all the tests, piles of documents, and strict health measures, we still managed to visit 30 countries and reach several exciting milestones in under 9 months. Crazy!

We started from the South Pacific, continued across Central and South Asia, through Europe, and all the way to North America to finally reach the Caribbean. 

Believe it or not, we welcomed 2023 on a flight to New Zealand, our new home away from home. It took us 25 flights, 2 cruises, and many taxis and buses in between to do a full circle from where we started.

All I can say is, “that’s so US”! We love discovering new people, cultures, languages, cuisines, traditions… Simply said, we are all in love with the world!

Clearly, when you travel as much as we do, accidents and unpleasant experiences are inevitable, but that’s also part of the magic of travel.

What are our next steps, you wonder? We are kicking off 2023 by visiting all the island countries in the South Pacific and then moving to the beautiful African continent!
