Hey, Guys! It's that time of year again, reminiscing about our Christmas adventures from last year. So, picture this: we've been basking in the sun in the Caribbean for what felt like forever, making it hard to come back to reality. But we made a decision - we were heading to North America to spend Christmas with our beloved grandparents. But where exactly? Let's dive into it.

Bye-bye Bahamas! Hello, USA!

With bags packed and hearts full of excitement, we left the sunny Bahamas behind and headed to the airport. Our first stop? Fort Lauderdale, with a connecting flight to our final destination. However, as luck would have it, there was a bit of a delay due to a massive storm heading towards Florida. But hey, we managed to avoid a last-minute Christmas disaster and boarded our flight.

Two and a half hours later, guess where we touched down? Nashville, Tennessee - the nation's music capital and home to some of the greatest names in the music industry. Luggage pick-up was a breeze, and we found ourselves outside, eagerly waiting for our shuttle.

And then, surprise, surprise! Who shows up to pick us up? Nana and Papa! What a heartwarming surprise that was. Thrilled but famished, we set out in search of our first meal in the States, only to find that everything was closed. But no worries, we ended up finding a quick bite to eat and woke up the following morning to a classic American pancake and maple syrup breakfast - talk about a delicious welcome.

Dollywood Express Park Tour

With the whole day ahead of us, we had one destination in mind - Dollywood! When you're in Tennessee, you just can't miss this place. We spent hours riding thrilling roller coasters, catching mesmerizing musical shows, and even got to see Dolly Parton's childhood home. Oh, and the Dollywood Express, a train tour around the theme park, was an absolute blast!

But perhaps the highlight of our visit was the musicals, where Dolly Parton's niece gave an unforgettable performance. Trust us when we say Dollywood is a must-visit for the entire family. It's a place where fun knows no bounds!
