Today, we're sharing a unique story - two parallel journeys home to Switzerland, exactly one year apart. From Pakistan in 2022 to Kuwait in 2023, these homecomings remind us why we chose Switzerland as our base after exploring 146 countries.
The First Homecoming: Pakistan to Switzerland 2022
After spending two years in New Zealand during the pandemic, our journey home in 2022 felt especially significant. Leaving Pakistan's vibrant culture behind, we embarked on a journey that would bring us back to familiar ground. The anticipation built with each passing mile - would Switzerland feel different after being away for so long?
The girls' excitement was palpable as our plane touched down on Swiss soil. After countless buses, planes, and trains (running with that famous Swiss precision!), we finally reached our doorstep. What awaited us was more than just a house - it was a treasure trove of memories.
Rediscovering Home
Opening our front door felt like stepping into a time capsule. The girls immediately dove into boxes of their childhood belongings, each item triggering a cascade of memories:

- Books they used to read
- Clothes they'd long outgrown

The Second Homecoming: Kuwait to Switzerland 2023
Fast forward exactly one year, and we found ourselves making the same journey, this time from Kuwait. Different starting point, same destination, but the magic of coming home hadn't diminished one bit. If anything, this parallel journey reinforced why we chose Switzerland as our base.
