WHY WATCH THIS VIDEO? Is it even worth visiting Sion Switzerland 🇨🇭???

Hey Guys! Today we are taking you to Sion, a charming town nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Our journey began with a smooth and scenic train ride from the Swiss Riviera to Sion. One of the best things about Switzerland is its incredibly reliable public transportation, making travel so easy and enjoyable. Plus we had our brand new LEVEL8 suitcases, making the transition that much easier.

Room Tour at the Moxy Hotel in Sion

After a couple of quick train rides and a bus hop, we arrived at our hotel, the funky Moxy in Sion. This place has a youthful, inviting vibe, and we were thrilled to have two cozy rooms with comfortable beds and great views of the town. We couldn’t have picked a better time to visit Sion, as we arrived on August 1st—Swiss National Day! The town was buzzing with festivities, music, acrobatic performances, and, of course, amazing food. The energy was contagious, and we soaked in every bit of the Swiss spirit.

The next morning, we kicked off our day with a Swiss breakfast at the Moxy Hotel. There’s something about hotel breakfasts in Switzerland that’s just so exciting—probably because the food is always top-notch!

Hiking Up to Château de Tourbillon

We had a full day ahead, starting with a hike up to the Château de Tourbillon. On our way there, we made a quick stop at a local grocery store to grab some snacks for the journey. The climb was worth every step; the view from the top was absolutely breathtaking. There’s nothing quite like taking in the beauty of Switzerland from a thousand-year-old fortress.

After descending back to town, it was time for a well-deserved treat—ice cream! Swiss dairy products are some of the best in the world, and we couldn’t resist indulging.

Wine Tour in Sion, Switzerland

The following day was all about wine. We went on a vine tour, discovering the pride Switzerland takes in its wine-making. With over 260 distinct types of grapes, Swiss wines are truly special. It’s no wonder they’re so rare to find outside of the country! For more info visit 👉 https://siontourisme.ch/en/sion-wine-tour

We also did some shopping in Sion and managed to snag a few great pieces at good prices. Speaking of shopping, our new GUWB MERCH just dropped—don’t forget to check it out on our website

Enjoying the Lovely Swiss Weather on a Bike

On our last day, we visited an International Open Market filled with organic foods and delicacies from around the world. The weather was anazing,, so we rented bikes and explored the beautiful nature of the Sion Valley. It was the perfect way to end our trip.

Back at the Moxy Hotel, we stumbled upon an after-work party and decided to join in on the fun with the locals. It was a great way to wrap up our adventure before heading home the next morning.
